This small replica model lamp is made in copper. The model was commissioned by Macclesfield Amateur Dramatic Society (MADS) at the end of their production of ‘Ghosts’ as a thank you gift for the play’s director. This little lamp was modelled after a prop lamp in the play as a reminder of the time spent on the production.
The prop lamp’s glass had been smashed only a short time before opening night, causing its own little bit of chaos, and making a memorable moment. The request was that it be a gift to remember the ‘smashing’ time had by all working on the play.
