This piece was commissioned as a birthday present and is made in the style of a Russian wedding ring (traditionally three bands of gold). It consists of four rings all interlocking so they can move past each other when the ring is put on or off. Each of the four bands has a decorative pattern on it requested by the recipient, three of which are just patterns and the final one with the initials of her family members.
